The long-awaited moment finally arrived for Senzo Khoza, the proud owner of a brand-new Toyota Vitz! An intimate handover ceremony was held on Wednesday, 12 February 2025, at Laduma Hardware Tonga, marking a historic milestone for the store—its very first car competition winner since the launch of Laduma Hardware’s car giveaways in 2022.
The event was graced by esteemed guests, including Ndlunkulu Lenolo Ngomane from Bukhosi bakaNgomane in Tonga —a patron of Vuka Mfati (an NPO dedicated to helping those in need) who attended with her entourage, Pastor Alpheus Mtshali, a respected community builder, and of course, the Khoza family.
The excitement was undeniable! Branch Manager Mr. Vijay Chandran M.D. affectionately known as Vijay, expressed his gratitude to Laduma Hardware’s customers for their unwavering support. He emphasized that Laduma Hardware always delivers on its promises! Echoing the same sentiments, Johan Nobela, the Sales Manager of Tonga Laduma Hardware thanked the Executive Management for initiating such a rewarding competition, highlighting how this win further solidifies Laduma Hardware’s reputation as a hardware store with a difference!
In his heartfelt speech, Mr. Khoza reminisced about the moment he received the life-changing call—he was fixing his roof with materials bought from Laduma Hardware Tonga when he was told he had won! Rushing to the draw with his two daughters, he was in disbelief as his name was announced as the winner. Overwhelmed with joy, he promised to continue being a loyal customer and a proud brand ambassador for Laduma Hardware.
The event concluded with the official handover of the car keys and ownership papers to Mr. Khoza. Thereafter, VIP guests had a celebratory light meal and appreciated with gifts. The moment of truth arrived when Senzo turned the ignition of the car and drove off in his brand-new Toyota Vitz—all thanks to Laduma Hardware Tonga!
