Mkhuhlu Laduma Hardware was the place to be as excitement filled the air during the highly anticipated 4th Car Competition Draw on the 8th February 2025—exclusively for our loyal customers! Customers came in numbers of Mkhuhlu and surrounding areas to witness the prestigious ceremony.
The event was graced by esteemed guests, including Nduna Ncube from Hoxani Traditional Council; Mr. Mbambo & Ms. Makumo, long time loyal customers of our Mkhuhlu branch; Ms. Connie Ubisi, our 2023 Toyota Urban Cruiser winner in Region 2 of the Laduma Hardware Group of Stores ; Mr. Senzo Khoza, the most recent winner of the 2024/25 Toyota Vitz from our Tonga branch and some team members from Mkhuhlu Traffic Department, who ensured smooth traffic flow along the busy Skukuza Road.
Our valued suppliers made the event extra special with top-quality product displays, giveaways, and live engagement! A huge shoutout to Golden Choice Paints, Eureka, Tile Magic, Matus, Corobrik, Lin Tank, Africa Tank, Mamba Cement, and many more for making the day a success!
The event was not just about the draw—it was a celebration of culture and community spirit! Spectacular performances from Believe Pre-School Kids, Ntshuxeko Primary School, and eKasi Dancers kept the crowd entertained! Traditional and contemporary acts, including drumming, poetry, and dance performances, brought vibrant energy to the event.
In addition; Fun games that catered for all ages, including musical chairs, pop the balloon, and fill the bottle with water, kept the audience engaged as well and also saw the winners being rewarded with goodie bags from Laduma Hardware and give away prizes from the suppliers!
Before the grand draw, consolation prizes winners were selected by our VIP Guests and the lucky winners are:

And then, the moment everyone had been waiting for finally came! The honour of selecting the Grand Prize Winner was given to Mr. Mbambo, a long-standing customer of Laduma Hardware Mkhuhlu.
CONGRATULATIONS to MR. BETHUEL SEBILA; Winner of a Brand-New Chocolate Brown Toyota Vitz that had been strongly contested by customers of Mkhuhlu Laduma Hardware!
When Mr. Sebila received the life-changing call, he could hardly believe it! Despite being at work in Sabie, he rushed to Mkhuhlu Laduma Hardware to see his dream become a reality. Mr. Sebila was overjoyed, overcome with mixed emotions as he burst into tears of joy and laughter upon being confirmed as the winner of the brand-new car. This means he has no outstanding debt to pay and no monthly instalments—his Toyota Vitz is fully paid for!.
