The second car competition draw took place in Region 2, on the 25th June 2022 in Kabokweni Mega Store. Region 2 is comprised of the following stores: Kabokweni Mega Store, Mkhuhlu, Hluvukani, Acornhoek, Tonga, and Builden, a subsidiary brand of Laduma Hardware.
An integrated marketing approach through various marketing channels was adopted in order to create awareness and drive more feet to the store on the day of the event. In addition, letters to customers were extended to come witness the event. Laduma Hardware Suppliers came in numbers, with freebies, and treats also to grace this event. Guests from the Traditional Authorities also came to witness the event and also to play an important part of conducting the draw. There were also other very important guests from the Police and Traffic Departments as well as influential members of the community.
An exciting line up that includes games, entertainment and light meals were part of the day’s proceedings. Children were also catered for and had fun playing in the jumping castles and also in participating in the games scheduled for the day.
The programme for the day eventually culminated to the draw. This was preceded by speeches from the Guests. Community Heros, were also acknowledged and honoured for their role in the Kabokweni Community, and awaited with tokens of appreciation. Customers who had been invited, were asked to conduct the draws publicly.
Mr Xihlamariso Mathebula, a customer of Acornhoek Laduma Hardware was selected as a car winner in the Region 2 stores. He won a brand new 1.4 VW Polo trendline. Consolation prizes were draw and the following customers won:
- A Maxi water tank was won by Twarisani Lukhele, a customer of Mkhuhlu Laduma Hardware
- A 2400 Litres Africa water tank was won by Jane Khoza , a customer of Kabokweni Mega Store
- An Electric Safe was won by Sammy Masuku, a acustomer of Kabokweni Mega Store
- A 1500W Torq drill, was won by Sikhulile Makhubele, a customer of Laduma Hardware Mkhuhlu; and
- Yet another drill, was won by Beauty Monareng, customer from Laduma Hardware Tonga
- An angle grinder and a drill machine was won by Florence Matukane, a customer from Mkhuhlu Laduma Hardware.
