The Lebowakgomo SAPS, the Social Crime Prevention and Communication identified a needy family whilst undertaking their duties in Lebowakgomo, Ga- Mphahlele, Lenting village in 2021. The Molokoane family which comprises of 13 members staying in a one room structure. The family did all their daily occurrence including – cooking, eating, bathing and sleeping in that room.
The Lebowakgomo SAPS requested a hand in help from Laduma Hardware on behalf of the Molokoane family – upon first visit to the family on the 28th May 2021, the situation was then confirmed to be true and needing urgent attention but due to Covid Pandemic, the executing of the house project was put on hold.
In September 2023 the executing in planning resumed, followed by a sod cutting ceremony on 11 October 2023 which stood as a starting mark of the project, where the Laduma Hardware and team put their hands together in plans to build a new house for the family, fulfilling their dream to have home. The project commenced in on the 15th of October and it took two months to be completed. On the 13th of December 2023 at the lands of the Molokoane family, Lenting Village in Limpopo the completed house was officially handed-over to the Molokoane family
