Mkhuhlu Laduma Hardware Hands Over a Brand-New Toyota Vitz to Bethuel Sebila – Winner of the 2024/25 Car Competition!
Keeping our brand promise remains a core pillar of our business strategy. In our recently concluded car competition at Mkhuhlu Laduma Hardware, Bethuel Sebila was selected as the lucky winner from thousands of competition entries—publicly, freely, and fairly—on 8th February 2025.
On 27th February 2025, Mkhuhlu Laduma Hardware proudly fulfilled its commitment! After completing all the necessary preparations to ensure a smooth transition of ownership, the store hosted an intimate handover ceremony to officially present the brand-new Toyota Vitz to Mr. Sebila.
The event was graced by Mr. Mbambo, a long-standing loyal customer of Mkhuhlu Laduma Hardware, as well as Bethuel’s family and friends. Mrs. Ncube, wife of Induna Ncube, also attended. For entertainment, the talented Ntshuxeko Primary School Xibelane dancers kept the audience on their toes with their vibrant performances.
Reflecting on the occasion, Mr. Mbambo applauded Laduma Hardware for its impactful community initiatives. He recalled how not long ago, a brand-new house was handed over to Gogo Ndlovuin the community of Mkhuhlu, changing her life for the better. Now, another milestone has been reached with this car handover in the very same community of Mkhuhlu. Having had the honour of selecting the winner during the live draw on 8th February, Mr. Mbambo expressed his excitement at also witnessing the final handover of the keys and ownership papers to Mr. Sebila. He emphasized, “This further attest that Laduma Hardware honours its promises and positively impacts the communities that it serves.”
A visibly overjoyed Bethuel Sebila could not contain his excitement, as this was the first brand-new car he had ever owned! He recalled the moment he received the call from Laduma Hardware, initially unable to believe that he had won. Overwhelmed with excitement, he requested to leave work at Sabie early on that unforgettable Saturday, February 8, 2025, to visit Mkhuhlu Laduma Hardware branch for confirmation. Expressing heartfelt gratitude to Laduma Hardware for making his dream a reality—debt-free—he pledged to be a proud brand ambassador and a loyal customer for years to come.
The moment of the official key handover was met with ululations, whistles, and dance from staff members and attendees, celebrating this joyous occasion.
