Across all departments — from Executive Management to junior staff — sleepless nights and long working hours paid off as Laduma Hardware proudly launched its 22nd store, the vibrant and colourful Laduma Hardware Chuenespoort.
Strategically located along the R37, approximately 15 kilometres from Lebowakgomo and 30 kilometres from Polokwane, all roads led to Chuenespoort on 9 October 2025 for this highly anticipated grand opening. The event drew throngs of customers from surrounding communities and beyond, while suppliers turned up in numbers to engage with customers and showcase their products.
The occasion was graced by members of Moshate wa Ditlou Machidi (Chuene Royalty) and representatives from Lebowakgomo SAPS, underscoring the store’s significance to the local community.
Customers were treated to a fun-filled day of excitement and giveaways — including caps, T-shirts, cooler bags, and Director’s chairs, courtesy of Laduma Hardware. The lively Laduma Gumba Gumba and Brass Band kept the atmosphere festive as shoppers enjoyed the crazy opening specials on offer.
Staff members enthusiastically interacted with customers, ensuring that every shopping basket was filled to the brim. It was truly a “fun-while-shopping” day, with suppliers joining in by handing out promotional goodies and creating awareness about their brands and products.
