3.1 Product Availability
While we strive to maintain stock levels, product availability may vary. We reserve the right to restrict the quantity of products available for purchase.
3.2 Pricing
All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include 15% VAT unless stated otherwise. Prices may vary, but once your order is confirmed, the rate will remain unchanged.
3.3 Product Descriptions
We strive for accuracy in product information; however, occasional errors may occur. We reserve the right to rectify any inaccuracies.
- Orders and Payments
4.1 Order Confirmation
After placing an order, you’ll receive an email confirmation. It does not confirm acceptance. Orders are subject to approval.
4.2 Payment Methods
We accept payments through PayFast for credit and debit card transactions, as well as via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Orders via EFT are processed only once payment is confirmed and cleared. We do not accept responsibility for compromised banking credentials.
4.3 Order Cancellation
If an order hasn't been dispatched yet, you still have the option to cancel it. Once dispatched, cancellation is not possible. For assistance, contact support.
- Shipping and Delivery
5.1 Delivery Costs
Shipping costs are calculated during checkout and are typically non-refundable, unless an error has occurred on our part.
5.2 Delivery Times
Deliveries typically take 2 - 7 business days, depending on location and availability. We are not liable for delays beyond our control.
5.3 Risk of Loss
All goods are sealed before being dispatched. Risk passes to the customer once delivered. A signed Proof of Delivery (POD) will confirm receipt and release us from further obligation.
- Returns and Refunds
We follow the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA).
Important: Present Your Original Tax Invoice for Returns
6.1 7-Day “Cooling-Off” Period (Online Orders Only)
You may return goods within 7 days if:
- They’re unused, in original packaging and resalable condition.
- They’re not custom-made or excluded items.
- Return courier costs are at your expense.
- Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 14 days following approval.
6.2 Defective or Damaged Goods
If a product is found to be defective or unsafe, customers have the option to have it repaired, replaced, or refunded within 6 months. However, a collection fee will apply for retrieving the defective item.
6.3 Non-Returnable Items (Unless Defective)
- Custom orders, like cut timber or mixed paint
- Used or installed items
- Items with transparent packaging, if opened
- Returns are not accepted unless proven defective under the CPA.
6.4 Return Shipping Costs
Laduma Hardware does not accept returns unless there is a defect or error on its part.
